Seen through the eyes of an exile, the large, Latin American city of Lima, Peru provides a sense of nostalgia and yearning for director Sergio García Locatelli. Filming the city during a grey, misty winter, the historic heart of the city, in all its reconstruction and restructuring, shows the coexistence of two worlds: that of an aristocratic past and of the current inhabitants who emigrated in search of the "Lima dream." Her body seems to insist that her life lived as a woman must end in her dying like a man, but nothing is as simple as it seems.
