The Velada gathers international artists in Maracaibo, Venezuela, to bring their art into ordinary private houses. It transforms the whole housing area into a colorful art festival for thousands of people. This documentary accompanies the festival founder and Hamburg-based Venezuelan artist Clemencia Labin and becomes a piece of art itself.

Viviane Blumenschein Viviane Blumenschein lives and works in Berlin, Germany as a freelance director and assistant director on a variety of feature films, commercials, trailers, as well as documentaries including DANCE FOR ALL (2008) and MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S TANGO (2012). With respect to her work, she reflects, "I am a filmmaker by passion, I struggle, fight and learn all the time and find my way of showing things differently. What makes documentaries interesting is surprise."
