Los teleféricos is a story looking for a way out, a desired but final escape. It is a story full of repetitions and symmetries, about roads that come and go but never meet, like cable cars themselves. It is the story of Lucas, who decides to help his grandfather and leaves behind a city that always shows the same grey sceneries and buildings full of little homes. Lucas' grandfather needs a cable car; he is finding it hard to keep climbing. This short has charmed audiences and juries alike, including garnering special mention from the Iberoamerican Shorts Jury at the Guadalajara International Film Festival.
