Lilia is a story about a man's struggle to keep his family together after losing his job. He has a 5-year-old daughter named Lilia, and he's working to make her happy and keep his wife in school. Then one day the rug gets swept from beneath their feet and they find themselves fighting for all they've worked for. This is the story of the desperate measures people take, and how the very things we work so hard to accumulate can tear us apart. This San Antonio produced film premiered in the Urban Stories section of the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival 2011.
